Let us first say a prayer.

Heavenly Father, thank you and praise you for leading us to gather before you. We are willing to live under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, experiencing your power and victory. Please renew our thoughts and minds through your word, allowing us to know you more. Help us understand the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen!

Romans chapter eight, verses twelve to seventeen,

12 Brothers, so then, we are not debtors to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God; 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Here it mentions a question: what kind of life will Christians lead under the guidance of the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit will tell you who you are, what you have in Christ. When you understand the guidance of the Holy Spirit, your life will be a life full of grace, experiencing victory in all things like Jesus.

In verse twelve, brothers, it says we are not debtors to the flesh. What does it mean to be in debt to the flesh? The original meaning of debt is to have an obligation, to owe, to have a responsibility.

Each of us has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. By ourselves, we cannot satisfy God's justice, and we cannot continuously do good. But here it tells us that we are not debtors to the flesh. Why?

In Romans chapter eight, verses one to eleven, it mentions that the Spirit of Christ dwells in you, so you are not of the flesh but of the Spirit. If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness. Because Jesus has been condemned in the flesh, He has paid off our debt of sin.

The flesh refers to that which is tainted by sin, carnal, sensual, and self-centered, where everything is for one's own benefit. This is against God and cannot please Him. When you accept the Lord Jesus as your Savior, you are no longer in the flesh; you can choose to live guided by the Holy Spirit.

When people do not know God, they focus on the flesh and act according to their own desires. For example, people often worry about what to eat or drink, and some even harm others' interests to live better.

Because people do not know God and do not understand the beauty of the Kingdom of Heaven, they prefer to live in the flesh, following the flesh. Romans chapter seven says, I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. Brothers and sisters, we should understand that Jesus saved us from sin, death, and curse to give us the best of the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, the Bible says that if we are willing to obey, we will be blessed. And this blessing is eternal.

Many people have a question: why did God place the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden? If it were not there, people could not eat from it... God loves us and gives us the right to choose freely, allowing you to choose to obey God or to choose to disobey God, acting according to your own preferences. The Holy Spirit does not force us to choose; He only tells people the various outcomes, allowing them to choose for themselves. Unfortunately, Adam and Eve chose to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which is self-centered, done for their own pleasure, and caused themselves and their descendants to fall under a curse.

At the moment we accept the Lord Jesus, we are saved from the curse of the law and enter into Christ. From then on, the Holy Spirit guides our hearts, which is the Spirit of life, allowing our lives to be abundant like Jesus.

James 1:15 says, When desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

If a person is not led by the Holy Spirit, they are led by their desires, which are completely self-centered, resulting in sin, and ultimately producing the fruit of death. This is of no benefit to oneself or to others.

When a person is unwilling to obey God and prefers to follow the flesh, they may fall into sickness and death or various tribulations. Remember, the flesh will not bring anything good; it produces the fruit of death. Illness, accidents, disasters—these are all fruits of death. I wish all believers would live according to the Holy Spirit. We will surely have abundance, peace, and experience all kinds of beautiful blessings.

In verse thirteen, it clearly states that if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

It is stated very clearly here: if a person chooses to live according to the flesh, they will die. This is the most common path that people take. Many people believe wrongly that sickness is given to us by God to refine us. They think the flesh is evil and needs to be refined. But we must believe God's word correctly; God will never give you sickness, nor will He bring accidents upon you; these do not come from God.

What God gives you is beneficial to you. Although He may discipline us at times, after this tribulation, the Bible says you will be like refined gold; you may start with sorrow, but later you will rejoice. But God will not use sickness, accidents, or disasters to discipline His children. A person who is perfectly fine can be hit by a car on the street, and no one would say that this is beneficial to them. What comes from the Holy Spirit is certainly peace and joy.

The evil deeds of the body do not refer to the body itself, nor does it mean we should not take care of our bodies. It refers to evil thoughts, desires, and lusts. In other words, when a person's heart thinks of evil, it will manifest in the flesh and be acted out through the body.

For example, when you see someone doing bad things, it is actually the desires in their flesh that are being activated; it is sin manifesting in the flesh, and the body carries out the evil deeds. The Holy Spirit tells us that if you rely on the Holy Spirit, you will put to death the evil deeds of your body, rendering the desires of the flesh ineffective within you.

Sin, through desires, lust, greed, and impulses, causes people to sin, binding them and making it impossible to escape, ultimately leading to death. Only the Holy Spirit can help us put to death these evil deeds of the body, allowing us to live. To put to death means to render powerless, to deny, to make it submit, so that it has no power over you. Therefore, do not rely on yourself to put to death your own flesh; it is the Holy Spirit who helps your body to remove these evil deeds.

When a person realizes that their desires are of no benefit and is willing to act according to God's word, as long as they pray, the Holy Spirit will give them strength and guide them on the right path. Remember, unless a person is willing, the Holy Spirit cannot do anything. You must make a firm decision to say, "I am willing to obey God's word," but we cannot do it on our own; we need the Holy Spirit to help us.

Matthew 7:7-11

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him?

When a person's heart knows the goodness of the Holy Spirit and the love of the Heavenly Father, they are willing to seek the will of the Father. When we pray to God, our Heavenly Father will guide them and help them understand God's goodness. We are loved by God. He desires for us to be victorious like Him. On earth, He hopes for us to prosper in all things.

You must remember that the Holy Spirit works with people to destroy the power of evil. If a person is unwilling to let the Holy Spirit put to death the evil deeds of the body and does not want to work with the Holy Spirit, continuing to live in sin, the Holy Spirit cannot do anything in that person's life. We have mentioned many times that the Holy Spirit is not a spirit of force; He respects your choices. If you are willing to let the Holy Spirit guide you and help you, the Holy Spirit will help you, but He will never force you or control your actions.

If you know your bad habits or negative phrases are not good, let the Holy Spirit help you, and He will give you strength to crush the power of sin in your flesh, allowing you to live according to God's word. What should we do?

We should follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit and be willing to be guided by the Holy Spirit. Some may say, "Is it really that simple? Is this what living according to the Holy Spirit is?" In fact, it is just that simple. Many people do not understand what it means to live according to the Holy Spirit. It means that when there are some bad things or bad thoughts, you are willing to be corrected and let the Holy Spirit help you.

For example, some people drink alcohol every day and know it is not good. They say, "I cannot do it on my own; Holy Spirit, help me quit drinking." As long as you have a willing heart to repent, the Holy Spirit will help you. You can overcome through prayer, fellowship, and declaration. If a person is unwilling and thinks there is nothing wrong with drinking, the Holy Spirit cannot do anything, even though He has the power; He will never force you to do anything.

As long as you are willing to be renewed by God's word, this is living according to the Holy Spirit. When you are willing, the Holy Spirit will begin to work in you, helping you restrain evil deeds and reject them. This is the work of the Holy Spirit; He is fully capable of helping you. Do not overthink it and make it seem complicated. Anyone can say, "I am willing to follow the Holy Spirit," but they may not know how to do it. In fact, it is that simple, brothers and sisters; overcoming evil deeds is the work of the Holy Spirit.

Many people ask, "Is our flesh already dead? Why do I still sin?" It is because people still live in this world and can be influenced by those around them and their circumstances. Sometimes they are led by their desires. When people are unwilling to obey the Holy Spirit, the evil deeds of the body will manifest. Therefore, we must rely on the Holy Spirit to put to death the evil deeds of the body; this is a long-term battle.

We put to death the evil deeds of the body by the Holy Spirit, and we will live. This living refers to a continuous action, a habitual action, meaning that every day we need to follow the Holy Spirit and put to death the evil deeds of the body, which we previously mentioned include desires, lusts, impulses, and greed that already exist in your body.

Just like when you see something delicious, you want to eat it; this is a need of your body. But even if you like that thing, you are still a spiritual person. Even if your body enjoys smoking, you are still a spiritual person. Last time we specifically mentioned that you are spiritual; it does not matter whether your behavior has improved; what matters is whether the Spirit of God dwells in you. If the Holy Spirit dwells in you, you are not of the flesh but of the Spirit.

However, a spiritual person may still choose to live according to the flesh. This means that a spiritual person may still live a carnal life. For example, if they steal something from someone or have greed, how can they overcome the evil deeds of the body? By following the Holy Spirit.

If you know these things are wrong, please pray to the Lord: "Lord, give me strength; Holy Spirit, help me overcome my bad habits and greed!" I always think about getting rich overnight, and I know this is not good; I should work diligently at a proper job, but I cannot stop thinking about those things.

Through declaration, meditate on God's word, and the Holy Spirit will help you find a job and live correctly. You will live a wonderful life, and the Holy Spirit will guide you step by step.

This is something believers need to do every day. If you do not rely on God for one day, you will immediately live a life of following the flesh. When you live according to the Holy Spirit, you can put to death the evil deeds of the body. It should become a habit; those who put to death the evil deeds of the body will surely live, meaning they will live out the likeness of Christ. When you follow the Holy Spirit, you will live out the likeness of Christ.

Some have believed for many years but do not reflect the likeness of Christ. However, it cannot be said that because you do not exhibit Christ's behavior and do not resemble Jesus at all, you are not a Christian. Of course, you are still a Christian; you just have not lived according to the Holy Spirit but have lived according to the flesh. However, you are still a spiritual person, still a saved person; it is just that by continuously living according to the flesh, you have lost many blessings that God originally wanted to give you.

Salvation is not related to behavior. God hopes you live by the Holy Spirit; He does not want you to live in sickness and pain. Living according to the flesh will produce jealousy, strife, and greed, which are of no benefit to us. God desires for you to live in the Spirit, with joy, peace, and gentleness—how wonderful!

Living according to the flesh produces the fruit of death. Living by the Holy Spirit, following the Holy Spirit, leads to a life filled with God's love, abundant blessings, and victory; this is better.

Galatians 5:16 says, I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

If a person is willing to follow the Holy Spirit, they will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Conversely, if a person is unwilling to walk according to the Holy Spirit, they will fulfill the lust of the flesh. Some may even become worse than those who do not believe, thus tarnishing the name of the Lord Jesus and receiving no blessings for themselves.

Some believers speak carelessly, often slandering, criticizing, and condemning others, yet they are still saved. They complain daily, as if the whole world is wronging them, as if they are the best. They simply have not lived according to the Holy Spirit but are possessed by the flesh, leading a tragic life.

When they are willing to follow the Holy Spirit, they can overcome. Because the Holy Spirit will help them put to death these evil deeds of the body, they will stop speaking negatively and be released from past pains.

Colossians 3:5 says, Therefore, put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

This refers to the lusts of the flesh and the evil deeds of the body. If they exist in your flesh, the result will certainly be evil deeds. Therefore, you must put to death your members on the earth, not to kill others but to focus on your own body. How to put to death? It does not mean to commit suicide; it means to live by the Holy Spirit and obey God's word.

In verse fourteen, it says, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.

The Spirit of God refers to the Holy Spirit; those led by the Holy Spirit are the sons of God. The Holy Spirit guides believers in their lives. In Greek, the word "led" has several meanings, one of which is to bear or embrace. It means the Holy Spirit carries you on His shoulders and embraces you in His arms, allowing you to live. He lifts you up to overcome various temptations in the world.

The Holy Spirit guides you, lifting you up and placing you on His shoulders; He becomes your leader, directing your path. Just like a shepherd, He walks ahead, guiding you forward. This is what it means to be led by the Holy Spirit. He opens a way for you, showing you the path you should take. The Holy Spirit guides us like a navigator, continually leading you to the destination, bringing you to Jesus Christ, making you more like Christ.

In life, how can we know that the Holy Spirit is guiding us? This is a very important matter. Many people are willing to live a life led by the Holy Spirit, but how exactly should they act? First, you must determine one thing: you are led by the Spirit of God; you are a child of God. The Holy Spirit will lead you on the right path. You may stumble, but the Holy Spirit will lift you up and guide you back on the right path.

A simple method to reference is this: if you often meditate on God's word and listen to sound preaching, becoming familiar with God's word, then you will have spiritual discernment in your heart. When you are about to do something and suddenly feel an extreme sense of unease, that is the Holy Spirit reminding you.

Do not ask for peace every day. This peace comes from God's word. The more we draw close to the Lord, the more peace will naturally arise. Many people say, "Lord, grant me your peace." In fact, the Holy Spirit is within you, and peace is always within you.

1 Corinthians 2:13-14 says,

These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

When you understand spiritual matters, you will know how to act in life. For example, if you are about to do something and lose your peace, just set it aside for now; this is the Holy Spirit guiding you.

Because the Holy Spirit knows all things and knows the outcomes, He tells you these things in advance. You need to have this wisdom: if there is no peace, do not do it; do not move forward. Waiting is also fine. We preach God's word using God's wisdom, which is the language taught by the Holy Spirit, explaining spiritual matters.

However, the natural man cannot comprehend these issues. They might say, "What does everything have to do with your God?" In fact, they do not understand that everything in this world is related to our Lord; He governs all things, and everything visible is connected to the spiritual.

In the Old Testament, there are many spirits, unclean spirits, and spirits of lies. When the spirit of lies enters a person, they will lie. There was a group of prophets, false prophets, who prophesied peace, saying, "Peace, peace." Why did they say peace to the king? Because so many prophets said peace, but the true prophet said, "There will be calamity."

Of course, the king did not want to hear what the true prophet said. So many prophets said peace; why do you say there will be calamity? The king's heart was inclined toward evil and preferred to hear lies. The Lord said, "Who will entice Ahab to go up to Ramoth Gilead to fall?" This one said this, and that one said that. Then a spirit came forth and stood before the Lord and said, "I will entice him." The Lord asked him, "In what way?" He said, "I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets." The Lord said, "You shall entice him, and also prevail; go out and do so."

Because these prophets liked to hear lies, the spirit of lies could enter the mouths of the false prophets. This is why the Bible says you should reject lies; we do not like lies, and we do not speak lies, so these evil spirits cannot prevail.

If a person's heart is inclined toward evil, these evil things will want to find him. If your heart is inclined toward God's word, when these evil things come out, the Holy Spirit will immediately tell you. You need to have discernment; you will immediately know that this matter is not good and will not do it, thus avoiding many losses. If you believe in Jesus and enter into gambling, trying to win some money, you will be like a madman, staying up all night. You will know that these people are led by their desires and can easily fall into others' traps.

Only the Holy Spirit within you can guide you correctly. It is not about how strong a person's resistance is; it is because the person is willing to be led by the Holy Spirit.

Verse fifteen says, For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear.

You are all sons of God. Verse fifteen continues, saying you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear. Why is the spirit of bondage particularly mentioned? What is the spirit of bondage? It is also called the spirit of slavery, a spirit of fear. When a person is dominated by fear, they will experience anxiety, tension, fear, danger, insomnia, and other discouraging things.

The spirit of bondage brings fear and various pressures. When a person is often filled with various pressures, they are actually bound. If there is no guidance from God, any situation can trigger fear, such as suffering, illness, unemployment, or debt issues.

Why are some people afraid to fly? It is because they fear that the plane will have an accident, thinking it is safer to stay at home or take the train. Why do they think this way? Because they feel more secure; at least they are not flying in the sky. If they fall from the sky, they will surely die. If they are on a train and have an accident, there may still be a chance to survive. Therefore, they are possessed by a spirit of fear. Indeed, planes do have accidents, but you cannot say that because there are plane accidents, you will never fly again. This is being captured by fear and enslaved.

The Bible tells us that you did not receive the spirit of bondage; you received the spirit of sonship. What is the difference between a son and a servant? A son is under grace, while a servant is under the law. In the Old Testament, those prophets were called servants of God. Moses had great power and did greater works than we do, yet he was still a servant of God. David served the Lord faithfully throughout his life, but he was a servant of God.

God said David was a man after His own heart. He was different from us; he had a servant's heart. David often had fear; he feared God. Moses also had fear of God. The Old Testament prophet Isaiah did even greater things, yet when he saw God, he was still afraid because he was under the law. God did not give him the spirit of sonship, so he still had fear.

Isaiah mentions that when the Lord's robe descended from heaven, he saw it and fell to the ground, saying, "Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts."

He was afraid in his heart. Therefore, the high priest in the Old Testament, whom we think is already clean enough, serving the Lord faithfully, still had fear when he entered the Most Holy Place once a year because he had a servant's heart.

Why? Because they feared being struck down by God; this is the spirit of bondage. But after the New Testament comes, we are different. The Bible clearly tells us that today you do not receive a spirit of bondage; it tells you not to be afraid anymore because you have received the spirit of sonship.

In the Old Testament, which prophet dared to call our Heavenly Father "Abba Father"? You can read the Bible carefully; you are much more blessed than those prophets. You can say at any time, "Heavenly Father, thank you for hearing my prayer."

Why are you not afraid? Why do you not fear when you go to church to worship God?

Because you are a son, God has given you a privilege; you can call Him "Abba Father." You can call Him "Daddy," but so many people in the Old Testament, including the high priest, did not dare to call Him that because they had a servant's heart. You have a son’s heart. What causes God to give you such a great privilege? It is actually Jesus Christ.

Galatians 4:4-6 says:

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

This passage explains very clearly why you have a son’s heart and not a servant’s heart. It is because one person came, and that person is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. When the fullness of time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law.

Without Jesus, we would not dare to cry "Abba Father" and would have no qualification; we would still be afraid and still have a servant's heart. But Jesus Christ was born under the law. When He was on the cross, He paid the price for our sins and fulfilled all the righteousness, holiness, and conditions required by the law. In the end, He said, "It is finished."

What did He accomplish?

He successfully redeemed us from under the law. The Bible tells us that He was born under the law to redeem those who were under the law. This work has already been completed. You have been redeemed from under the law, allowing us to receive the title of sons of God. This is a gift from God, not something you earn through effort; it is what Jesus Christ accomplished for you on the cross.

He redeemed you from under the law, granting you His title as a son. He originally had the title of son, but He placed Himself under the law so that you could receive His title as a son. You have become a child of God; this is an exchange of identity. He entered under the law, fulfilled the law's righteousness, and granted you His identity, the title of son.

Since you are a son, God immediately acknowledges you, saying, "You have accepted my Son Jesus Christ for what He has done for you; you are now a son." Since you are a son, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your heart, referring to the Holy Spirit. He has placed His Son's Spirit within you, so you should always remember that you are a child of the Heavenly Father. Therefore, what you have received is the spirit of sonship; you can cry out "Abba Father" because all of this is not based on your behavior. Even if your behavior is terrible, you can still call Him "Abba Father."

But under the law, even if you think your behavior is good, you still have no qualification to call Him "Abba Father."

Under the New Testament, even if you have sinned, you still have the qualification to call Him "Abba Father" because it is Jesus Christ who has redeemed this for you, granting you the title freely. The title is not based on your ability, not based on your good behavior, not based on your efforts; it is freely given to you by God.

Never let anyone take away this title from you. Do not learn from some people who say, "I have been behaving badly lately; I have started drinking again and cursing, so I am not worthy to be called a child of God..." In fact, no one can take away your title as a son. Brothers and sisters, you can call Him "Abba Father."

Because the spirit of sonship has already entered into you, what is the way the Holy Spirit gives us to draw near to God? It is to let you know that you are a child of God, letting you know that the Holy Spirit is always guiding you. When you know you are a child of God, you can live a life led by the Holy Spirit. Thank the Lord.

When you are willing to draw near to God and live according to God's way, as long as you have a willing heart, the Holy Spirit will help you. You are the beloved child of God. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. The Holy Spirit has already told you that you are a child of God.

You say, "I also believe I am a child of God." One is through human belief, and the other is through the reminder of the Holy Spirit. When these two come together, you will say in your heart, "Yes, that is it." If you have some doubts that you cannot resolve, after hearing the pastor speak, you will say, "Yes, yes, yes, that is it. This is what I need; this is what I want." This is the Holy Spirit bearing witness with our hearts. You have the spirit of sonship, not the spirit of bondage, not a heart of fear. Do not fear God or distance yourself from Him, for God no longer remembers your sins. He desires to embrace you every day, holding your hand, guiding you forward because you are His child. The Holy Spirit has already borne witness with your heart that you are a child of God. No one can take this away from you. Thank God, you have the spirit of sonship, not the spirit of bondage, not a heart of fear, but one that Jesus redeemed with His life.

No matter what you are facing, no matter how bad your situation is, no matter what position you are in, you can come before God at any time and ask the Heavenly Father for help, believing that God will help you. God will always hear your prayers because you are the beloved child of God. This is a Christian led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will tell you these things and remind you that you are a child of God. You can call out "Abba Father" at any time, and you can live a life led by the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 10:19 tells us, Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus.

The high priest entered the Most Holy Place with fear because he had a servant's heart, but why can you enter boldly? Because you are relying on the blood of Jesus, and all of God's grace has freely come upon you. All your sins have been forgiven by God; He is pleased with you and calls you to refer to Him as your "Abba Father."

You are now a child of God because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers, as stated in 1 Peter 3:12. Are you righteous? Are you sure you are righteous? You must be sure. Therefore, God's eyes will surely watch over you, and His ears will surely hear your prayers. This is what the Holy Spirit wants to tell you: you can live a life led by the Holy Spirit. Fear is not good; what is released from fear is certainly not good.

When you know you have the spirit of sonship, you will have faith, knowing that God is willing to give you all His abundance. As beloved children, parents are willing to give their best to their children. How much more will your Heavenly Father love you? Therefore, He will give you even better things. This is the privilege given to you by the Heavenly Father. Hallelujah!

Verse seventeen says, And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

I have checked some other scriptures, and some translations are quite off, saying that Jesus Christ is the child, and we are adopted sons. Some directly translate heirs as adopted sons, which is a significant difference in China.

So do not misunderstand heirs. I specifically checked the original text; heirs refer to those who are able to inherit God's promised inheritance, a legitimate heir. Brothers and sisters, you are children of God, and you are able to inherit God's promised inheritance. You are a legitimate heir of God's promise. Do you understand this? The Bible has many promises from God for His children. You are His child, so you have the qualification to inherit these promises.

The meaning of this word is that since you are a child, you have the qualification to inherit God's promised inheritance, making you a legitimate heir of God. Moreover, you are a co-heir with Christ, meaning you have the qualification to inherit God's inheritance. Just like the elder son and the younger son, Jesus is the elder son, and we are the younger sons. We both have the qualification to inherit our father's inheritance; the elder son inherits a double portion, while we inherit one portion. You are a child of God, so you have the qualification to inherit the promises mentioned in the Bible.

God's promises are such that all the promises written in the Bible are for you. For example, the Bible says that in Christ, He will supply all your needs. There are so many promises in the Bible that are for you because you have the legitimate right to inherit. The Holy Spirit testifies that we have this privilege. When you read this verse, declare it loudly, saying, "This is the blessing I have received in Christ; the guarantee is the Holy Spirit."

Because you have a seal upon you, which is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a very important sign for God to identify whether we are His children. The Holy Spirit testifies that we are legitimate heirs.

If you acknowledge that God is your Heavenly Father, you have the right to inherit His inheritance. Believe that the Son of God has redeemed this qualification for us, allowing us to become children of God. You have the legitimate right to inherit. We are the promised offspring, the promised heirs, as God has placed the promise made to Abraham upon us.

God promised Abraham that his offspring would inherit the world and become a great nation, and you are one of his people. Therefore, you also have the blessing of inheriting this world because God promised Abraham and his offspring that they would inherit the world—not because of the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

The content of Romans chapter four tells us that God made a promise to Abraham, saying that he and his offspring would inherit the world. This means that you and your offspring have the legitimate right to inherit. God has already given this to you; this authority has already been placed upon you. Therefore, you are the glorious offspring of God, a legitimate heir of God's glory, and you have a legitimate basis for this, which is the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit within you has already told you that God has signed this for you. Do not doubt; receive it boldly. When you understand this, you will know to pray every morning, "Lord, I believe today is a day blessed by you. Everything I do will have your grace."

Why can you declare this boldly? Because the Holy Spirit has reminded you that you are a child of God, and you have the right to inherit all His blessings. Therefore, today you can boldly declare and believe that you will surely receive such blessings.

A person who follows the guidance of the Holy Spirit will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and willingly tell those around them, allowing them to no longer live in pain and no longer be dominated by the spirit of bondage. Let them also enter into this freedom and enjoy the joy brought by the spirit of the Son of God. However, in this process, you may face some persecution; some may not accept it and may even slander and condemn you. But do not forget that although there is persecution, the Son of God is with you. You will overcome persecution and receive glory; God will reward you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we especially thank and praise you. Thank you for giving us this time to know that we do not have to live according to the flesh. We are willing to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, help me guide my life, allowing me to learn to rely on your word in all things, to be victorious in all things, and to show your glory.

I believe I am a child of God, and I can inherit God's inheritance. I am a blessed person. I declare that this is a day of victory. My Heavenly Father will guard my steps, and the Holy Spirit will guide my path ahead, allowing me to experience your goodness. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!
