375-Catching God's Promises While Waiting#
375-Catching God's Promises in Waiting
(JP Text Group - shalom compilation)

Dear family, peace in the Lord, welcome to your arrival.
The topic of sharing is: Catching God's Promises in Waiting.
Hebrews 6:13-18,
13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, since He had no one greater by whom to swear, He swore by Himself, saying, 14 “Surely I will bless you and multiply you.” 15 And thus Abraham, having patiently waited, obtained the promise. 16 For people swear by something greater than themselves, and in all their disputes an oath is final for confirmation. 17 So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of His purpose, He guaranteed it with an oath, 18 so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, thank You and praise You, thank You for preparing this wonderful time as we come before You. Please lead us to receive provision and strength in truth. As we begin a new week, let us first receive the food we need from You, the strength, wisdom, and ability to live it out in our lives. In everything, may we grasp Your promises, and in waiting, may we still have hope and strength. Thank You and praise You for renewing our thoughts and ideas through this time, receiving Your strength. In the name of Lord Jesus, we pray, Amen.
The scripture we just read is God's promise to Abraham. God promised Abraham that He would bless him greatly and multiply his descendants. After God spoke to him, the promise was not fulfilled immediately; Abraham waited for about 20 years for the promise to come to fruition, finally seeing the birth of his son. During the waiting process, Abraham indeed faced trials. He had moments of discouragement and weakness, and God repeated the promise to him again, just as He speaks the same words to us. He swore to Abraham; why did He swear? To help people believe.
Verse 16 of the scripture we just read says: People swear by something greater than themselves, and in all their disputes, an oath is final for confirmation.
Since there are disputes, it indicates that doubts and mistrust have arisen. To make these disputes disappear, people will swear, usually seeking someone greater than themselves to swear by. God also swore to Abraham; it was not that God did not believe in Himself, but that Abraham's faith was not that strong. So God swore to help Abraham believe, but since He found no one greater than Himself, He swore by Himself, saying, “Surely I will bless you and multiply you.” These two things are unchangeable; God cannot lie.
Someone once asked, is there anything our God cannot do? The promises God gives you will surely be fulfilled! When they have not yet been fulfilled, do not doubt or lose heart, but be patient and wait. Many people are full of faith when they first start something, and again filled with faith when they see success, thinking the end is near, and dreams are about to be realized. They have fought a good fight, and their hearts are filled with strength and gratitude. Many people have faith at the beginning and the end, but the real challenge is whether they can hold onto God's promises during the waiting process before the desired results arrive.
God has healed us and answered our prayers, and we testify to others with full faith, which is possible. But in the waiting process before that, many people become discouraged because the process of waiting is longer than they imagined. They lack funds, situations do not change, and their physical and family conditions weaken during the waiting process. The little treasure that once brought you great joy has started school, and many of his behaviors drive you crazy, making you feel like he is not your biological child. In the process of waiting for him to grow up, you have felt weak.
Many people feel discouraged before the promise is fulfilled. They think, I know everything God gives me is good, but it seems like I can't go on. Conflicts with friends, poor business, lack of operating funds; most people lose the entire battle during the waiting process. But God never promised us that believing in Him would mean we would not encounter storms, resistance, or disappointment. There are many things we may not understand, but we must believe that God's promises are real.
John 16:32-33:
32 Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me. 33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Jesus once promised us, telling His disciples that one day, the hour is coming when they will be scattered, facing persecution, problems, and resistance, leaving Him alone. But in reality, He is not alone because the Father is with Him. Jesus told His disciples what He would face to let them know that they too would encounter similar situations in their future ministry, as if the whole world were left with only their loneliness. Jesus shared this not to make us lose peace or become discouraged and despairing, but to tell us that the Father is also with us. He has overcome the world, and no matter what situation or environment you encounter, even in tribulation, you can take heart; Jesus has overcome the world!
Just as God promised the Israelites that they would enter Canaan, He never said they would not encounter enemies. God's promise to them was, “I will be with you, I will fight for you, and I will bring you into that promised land.” This is something that cannot be stopped, Amen! When things do not progress as expected, and the situation seems to be regressing, what should we do? It seems that every voice around you wants you to give up, and even you doubt whether you are on the right path. Should you not believe in this Lord?
Many people think that if they are on the right path, they will not encounter resistance or danger. Do not believe those lies; these are all part of the process. In life, you will definitely encounter storms, just like children growing up, falling down is normal; this is part of their maturity. When you want to give up on God's promises, that is when you need faith the most, believing that His words are still effective. The obstacles and difficulties you encounter are merely stepping stones to help you rise higher.
Romans 5:1-5:
1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him, we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope; 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
This passage tells us that those who are justified by faith, who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, have been reconciled with God through Jesus Christ. Reconciliation is just the first step; we are called His beloved, and there is a connection between us and God. What is the next step? Through Him, we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand! In other words, when you are justified by faith, you enter into God's grace, not into danger, not into discouragement and despair, but into God's grace, where you can rejoice in hope of the glory of God! We are people of hope, Hallelujah!
Those who are justified by faith are people of hope, and countless glories of God will be manifested in them. In the process of hope, they will encounter tribulations, yet even in tribulations, they rejoice! Why rejoice? Because all things work together for good for those who love God. Suffering produces endurance, and the character of endurance is not produced in peace but in tribulation, hardship, persecution, and terrible environments.
Some may ask, what benefits does the character of endurance bring? If a person has the character of endurance, they can bear greater blessings! Endurance produces character, and character is contrasted with childishness. A mature person remains calm regardless of how great the storm is; they have assurance in their hearts and do not react like a child who cries when upset and laughs when happy. In maturity, our hope is certain and does not drift like the waves of the sea; these are all beautiful qualities!
Moreover, God has promised us that hope does not put us to shame. When you rely on God to live, please hold onto this promise. Even if what you expect does not come, you must still have hope in the waiting, believing that God's words will not fall to the ground. This hope will not put me to shame, why? Because the Holy Spirit is in your heart, reminding you constantly. The Holy Spirit given to us pours God's love into our hearts, Hallelujah!
God's love in your heart can overcome these tribulations, dangers, and various environments. You know God loves you! Joseph did just that. When he was very young, God gave him a vision that he would become a great figure, and even his brothers would bow down to him. God let him see the end of this promise, and the promise took root in his heart. He often mentioned this great dream to his brothers, but he did not know what he would go through to achieve this great dream. Now, reading the Bible, we know that many years later, Joseph became the prime minister of Egypt, in a high position, and his dream came true. But I think Joseph could never have imagined that God would fulfill his dream in such a way!
God did not tell him that his brothers would throw him into a pit out of jealousy, sell him into slavery, that he would be falsely accused, and suffer in prison for many years. If Joseph were alive now and sharing his testimony, he would surely tell you not to lose heart; there will be tribulations in life, but God's grace is greater.
From the world's perspective, sometimes it seems we are going downhill, facing tribulations, but from God's perspective, you are always on the rise. When life encounters unreasonable situations, please do not give up; hold onto God's promises. If the environment is unsatisfactory and different from what you imagined, it seems you are going in the wrong direction. Like Joseph, continue to believe and hold onto God's promises, believing that God's guidance is the best in all situations, Amen!
Having accepted Jesus as your Savior, He is your Lord and will surely take responsibility for you! He has led you to this point and will never give up on you midway. He has never let you down in the past; think back to the prayers He has answered, the countless times He has comforted you, and He will not abandon you in the future! Even now, if you are in trouble and the road is rugged, do not lose heart. At the beginning, you may have been full of faith, thinking that believing in Jesus is wonderful! It is an interesting thing, and we know the ending is joyful, but in this process, you will encounter some storms. But do not be afraid, for Jesus has overcome this world; these are all temporary.
When a seed is planted in the ground, there will be a period of darkness; the seed will die, but new life will grow, and it will be stronger than the previous life! We have the resurrected life of Christ, and this life has already begun to grow. Even if there are storms outside, the power of this life far exceeds the storms!
I have seen trees growing in the crevices of rocks in areas with severe storms. These trees have experienced tremendous winds and rains but still survived and grew more lush than other trees because their roots are firmly anchored. In our problems, we must learn to hold onto God's promises. God promises to bless the work of your hands; this blessing has already begun, and breakthroughs are on the way. Do not listen to those around you saying that it is hard to live now; you are different. You are a child of God, and you must hold onto God's promises and continue to move forward, looking forward to beautiful results, Hallelujah!
1 Samuel 16:13: So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon David from that day forward. And Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.
This passage speaks of God sending Samuel to anoint David as king. At that time, Samuel was very disappointed with King Saul, often praying and feeling discouraged before God. God said, “Go anoint David, the son of Jesse; he is a man after my own heart!” God anointed David as king through Samuel. One can imagine that David must have been very excited at that time because this was a tremendous grace that came from heaven, and he must have been filled with gratitude towards God!
But what happened to his life afterwards? He had to continue tending sheep, and his brothers still looked down on him. God only said that one day David would become king of Israel, but did not say that he would encounter many difficulties along the way. God did not tell him he would face the giant Goliath or the greatest nightmare of his life—King Saul—who would chase and persecute him countless times, making him feel that life was not worth living. Nor did He say that once you become king, your son would rise up against you, and you would be like a bird chased everywhere, running around in confusion.
God did not tell him these things. If He had told Joseph or David, they might have chosen not to be king, unable to bear it. If you examine the great men of faith in the Bible, you will find a common trait: they all waited patiently for God's promises to be fulfilled before they saw them come to pass! Although they may have felt weak, they constantly thought of God's promises, held onto them, and were filled with faith! When the environment seemed impossible and the promises felt distant, they continued to move forward, deeply believing that these were not the final outcomes, Hallelujah!
There are many such scriptures. If we encounter tribulations and imagine ourselves as Job, thinking, “Why am I suffering so much? I should not have come into this world,” many even say that living is meaningless, “Lord, please take me back quickly! I really do not want to be here…” If it were all like this, how could the gospel continue to spread?
The comfort the Bible gives us is to pay attention to Job's ending. Do not learn from his suffering; instead, see how his story ends. When you see Job's ending, you will have faith! In the waiting process, you must hold onto God's promises, Hallelujah! Otherwise, without God's promises, we will become discouraged and hopeless during the waiting process because we do not know how to proceed. The road ahead seems more dangerous, and we do not know how to move forward. If Paul did not know his ending, he would live in fear every day, not knowing how to walk the path ahead; his problems would be greater, and the risks he faced would be larger.
How does Jesus view these matters? He saw the joy ahead and despised the shame; He saw the great power that His death and resurrection would bring us and did not care about the persecutions and sufferings He encountered, Hallelujah! Because Jesus knew those problems were not the end; the final outcome is beautiful! You should also believe this. Even if the current environment is unsatisfactory and there are many problems, you must hold onto God's promises during the waiting process, grasping God's promises. Do not say, “Lord, why has it not come to pass yet?” Just remember that God's perfect timing has not yet arrived; He certainly has His good intentions! Perhaps He is shaping our character, expanding our vessels to bear more!
Brothers and sisters, remember, if our vessel is the size of a cup, God can only give us a cup's worth of blessings. If through these tribulations and problems, we develop the character of endurance, our vessels will expand, and God can give us more blessings. Just like Joseph, if he had not suffered those hardships, his heart would not have been so broad. If he had not faced those persecutions, he would not have had such great vision and a heart of tolerance! Perhaps it is because he has suffered that he can better understand others, Hallelujah! Once he completed the lessons God had for him, God said he was qualified; this vessel could hold something, so God immediately brought him out of prison and placed him in the position of prime minister of Egypt, filling him with blessings, Hallelujah! Perhaps God is expanding your vessel; please do not lose heart. In this process, you must hold onto God's promises, endure, and wait!
Psalm 23:4-6:
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
This passage is well-known to many; many say Psalm 23 is very beautiful, referring to the first half, “I lie down in green pastures; I lead beside still waters!” They think it is a beautiful psalm, but how many people also view the latter verses as beautiful? “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,” this is David's personal experience.
Imagine if at this moment God has promised you that you will become the king of Israel, but your days are still the same, still tending sheep in the wilderness, and your father seems to have forgotten you, while your brothers have achieved some success. You are in the wilderness every day, fearing wild animal attacks, enduring heat and cold, and even when danger comes, you do not know if you will ever sit on the throne!
Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, do not be afraid. How did David overcome this? Because you are with me! This promise God has also given you! No matter where you go or what problems you encounter, He is with you, Hallelujah! You must believe that God's rod and staff are your comfort.
Do you know what the rod and staff are for? When danger comes in the wilderness, the shepherd uses the rod to strike the wild beasts. The staff is used to pull a sheep out of a pit when it falls over the edge. “Your rod and your staff, they comfort me,” means that no matter what environment you encounter, God will comfort you because He is with you. This is why you can endure and wait. David experienced God's promises time and again, and he said, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.”
Many Christians pray, “Lord, do not let me encounter tribulations; do not let me face dangers; I do not want to see enemies.” But God gives you greater strength to prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies! This means that although enemies exist, God gives you a heart of rest and victory, and prepares a feast for you in front of your enemies, allowing you to completely overcome!
The feast is not meant to make you afraid but to bring you strength and joy. When do you feel that God's words are your strength and joy? When danger comes, when enemies approach, can you sit at God's table? This is the victory feast prepared for you by Jesus. You must consume His words, and you will have strength. Even though the enemies may roar and insult you, they have already been defeated and locked up. Do you understand?
“You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” The Holy Spirit has anointed us, so when encountering bad things, we should pray to God, believing that He will make our cup overflow, Hallelujah! In the waiting process, hold onto God's promises, expecting the most beautiful promises to come. If you have prayed for something but the results are delayed, do not change your thoughts; continue to pray, waiting with hope. Believe that the latter blessings will be greater than the former! Because God's promises are that He will surely follow you with goodness and mercy, not leaving you in pain.
When God led the Israelites out of Egypt to the promised land, He knew what was in the destination; it was a land flowing with milk and honey! Throughout this process, God never left or forsook them; He was always providing for them! God did not say to the Israelites, “I will lead you out of Egypt, and after that, you must fend for yourselves! You will have to find food in the wilderness and strive to survive!” No, God never said that.
The moment you accepted Jesus, God did not abandon you to walk the path to heaven alone or climb the ladder to the kingdom of heaven by yourself. No, He is with you! Just as God provided for the Israelites, He supernaturally supplied them along the way, giving them manna every day, which they could collect in the wilderness. When they wanted meat, God changed the wind, bringing thousands of quails to their camp. When they were thirsty and had no water, God instructed Moses on which rock could provide water, continuously supplying them! For forty years, God's blessings never ceased, Hallelujah!
Moreover, when they encountered enemies, God protected the people from strong attacks, personally fighting for them. These events are recorded in the Bible to let us know that He not only governs the beginning and the end but also walks with us every day along the way! He leads us through storms, trials, and difficulties. It is not that God disappears when we encounter problems; no, He is always with us! Perhaps you are in suffering and hardship, but God is still with you, walking through this with you. God has given you promises, just as He promised the Israelites to bring them into Canaan! God knows the destination, and the Israelites know they are in the wilderness; they are just walking toward that destination, and so are you! Amen.
Isaiah 43:1-3:
1 But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in exchange for you.”
Isaiah is like a condensed version of the entire Bible. Reading through Isaiah 66, you can see a complete salvation. In this process, the people encountered suffering, and God provided them with comfort. What God gave them were the words He had previously promised: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you.” Every time the Israelites encountered problems and felt weak and discouraged, God did not immediately appear in human form to save them but first gave them His words, helping them develop the habit of relying on His words to live.
Many people hope that God will solve their problems immediately when they encounter issues, but God does not save us this way. He first gives us promises and words so that we can hold onto these promises and live, for this gives everyone hope! Otherwise, where would we find the resurrected Jesus to explain the scriptures to us? God tells the Israelites, “Do not fear! For I have redeemed you. I know your name; I have called you by name; you are mine.” How does God comfort them? “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you!”
Some people always like to take extremes, saying, “If you do not let me pass through the waters, then that would be fine!” But that is not the case. God's meaning is that you will encounter storms and tribulations, but I am with you! “When you pass through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you,” means that it may seem dangerous, but it will not harm you! “When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned,” some say, “If I do not walk through fire, then I will be fine!” This is not God's way! God never promised us that if we believe in Him, we would not encounter any wind or rain; He only tells you that no matter where you are, in any tribulation, He is with you, protecting you, for He is your God, your Savior, Amen!
In the scripture we just read, David also said, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,” meaning he would go through these tribulations; that is not the end, just a passage! Difficulties are not permanent; sickness, lawsuits, loneliness are just small parts of the journey! Suppose you are going to a place for a trip, and due to weather conditions, your flight is delayed. You know how many people become anxious and lose their temper because of the weather! Because of this wait, many become impatient! In the waiting process, many cannot see the promises anymore, cannot see the beautiful scenery of the destination, and become discouraged and weak. If you are constrained by difficulties, you will become discouraged and stuck, making what should be a short waiting process much longer! Isn’t that right, brothers and sisters?
Many people regret for life because they gave up halfway. I want to encourage you to keep moving forward, even if there are small detours; be patient and wait! We know the ending is beautiful! Just like David said, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me!” The valley of the shadow of death is not the end; David was not afraid of it because he knew God was with him! Do not misunderstand; do not see the valley of the shadow of death and think it is over. You should not settle down there, build a house, or dig a well. Please remember, this valley is not your hometown; you are just passing through! You can pass through quickly!
When facing adversity, many people want to stop, but have you thought about it? If you stop, you will only prolong the adversity! Many people, when encountering problems, say they do not want to pray, do not want to attend gatherings, and do not want to read the Bible. Do you know? This will only make the adversity last longer! You need to pass through quickly; the more you are in this adversity, the more you need to rely on God's words and pass through quickly! Hallelujah!
Just like now, when it often rains, many mountain roads will have falling rocks. What should you do? Stop walking and park the car, watching the rocks fall? No! You see that there is no falling rock situation; you need to pass through quickly. It is not about waiting there to build a house, saying, “I will just watch the falling rocks; I will never walk again.” Can your mood be good? At this moment, you need to make a decision, seize the opportunity, and pass through quickly, Hallelujah!
Therefore, even when encountering the valley of the shadow of death, hold onto God's promises like David. You know this is not the end; God is in control of everything, and He is still with you! So do not build houses in the valley, dig wells, or dig deep into the ground. If you are indeed facing difficulties and weakness now, what should you do? Seek God's words, rely on His words to overcome, and continue moving forward. The place you are going to is called the land of abundance, Hallelujah!
Ephesians 6:10-13:
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
What does this scripture mean? “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.” Hallelujah! When should you rely on God's words? It is when you encounter problems that you need to look up to God's promises! “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” What is the whole armor of God? It is God's words! It will enable you to overcome in such an environment!
Do you know what the whole armor is for? It is for your protection. When we firmly hold onto God's words, the devil's resistance and attacks against you become ineffective because this whole armor will protect you! At the same time, we must see from a spiritual perspective that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. Sometimes, what we see on the surface is temporary; you are not wrestling against these things! You are wrestling against spiritual forces of evil!
Many things arise not because of what God does but because the devil is causing trouble behind the scenes! What should we do? Take up the whole armor of God. “Take up” means that God has already prepared it; you just need to take it up! If you are facing difficulties and problems, you should put on the whole spiritual armor God has given you to withstand the enemy!
Many people do the opposite; when they encounter difficulties and problems, they become discouraged and even discard their armor. In fact, it should be the opposite; you should immediately put on this armor. The more you do not want to pray, the more you need to pray; the more you feel irritated when reading the Bible, the more you need to read it! Because that is the key to unlocking your irritation and freeing you from it! Hallelujah! Therefore, we must see God's goodness in these unfavorable environments!
Matthew 8:23-26:
23 And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24 And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. 25 And they went and woke him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing!” 26 And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
God is teaching you to hold onto promises when you encounter difficulties. If every time you face difficulties, God immediately rescues you, how can our lives grow? Like flowers in a greenhouse, unable to experience the wind and rain. But in adversity, you can learn to live by holding onto God's promises, and your life will be strong! Maintaining calm in adversity is a sign of maturity, Hallelujah!
God desires our lives to be mature, not like children who do not discern right from wrong, crying at the slightest problem and doing nothing. God wants us to mature because when you mature, you can receive the blessings of the inheritance! If you are a child, you cannot receive them. If God does not turn the situation around for us, we will keep tumbling back and forth in various storms. But God has not allowed you to be like that! God wants you to rely on His words to overcome in problems, Amen!
Jesus set an example for His disciples. They all faced storms, and their boat was about to capsize. Jesus stood up and said, “Be still! Calm down!” He rebuked the winds and the sea. Jesus could do this because He lived by relying on God's words; He held onto the promises of the Father! You are the same; God has given you this authority, Hallelujah! At the same time, you must see that the Holy Spirit is also with you. This is not the worst for you because the most powerful force in the universe is helping you, Amen.
Finally, let’s look at a passage from Psalm 29:10-11:
10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as king forever. 11 The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.
This is God's promise to us. Do you know when the flood rises? The flood here refers to encountering problems that exceed us. What should we do? We need to know that the Lord sits enthroned as king. Do you know that God is still sitting as king? He has overcome this world, and He shows you how He has overcome it; He conquered death through death! Through His death, He has exchanged life for us, allowing us to live by His resurrected life, Hallelujah! Believe that Jesus has overcome this world, and we live by His victory; He is still sitting as king today.
This passage repeatedly states that the Lord sits enthroned as king; the Lord sits enthroned as king forever. When we encounter danger and storms, we must remember that He is still sitting as king today. He will give strength to His people, which includes you. Even if the results of the promises you expect have not yet arrived, do not lose heart. In the process of patiently waiting, look up to Him, hold onto the promises, and live just like Abraham did. Since God has told him that He will give him a son, he holds onto this promise, waiting for the day to come!
If you have prayed for something and the results have not yet come, the problem has not yet been solved, continue to listen to God's words, endure, and wait. Waiting is not torment; it is waiting with hope, just like a farmer waiting for the precious harvest from the field. Endure and wait, for we believe that the one who promises us is faithful; He is the faithful Lord who will never deceive us! The Lord will surely give strength to His people. The Lord means the God who makes a covenant with us! When you see the name of the Lord mentioned in the Bible, you know He is the God who makes a covenant with me. Since He has made a covenant with me, He will surely keep His word. He says He will bless me; He says He will give me strength; He says He will give me the blessing of peace! You must apply these promises to yourself.
In my circumstances, the Lord sits enthroned as king; He will give me strength; He will give me the blessing of peace, Hallelujah! When these things are not yet seen, we must hope for them, living each day, Hallelujah! Believe that Jesus has risen from the dead; He still reigns, Amen! Hallelujah.
Let us pray before God, through this song, we pray before God, believing that Jesus reigns, Amen!
(Song) Jesus Reigns
You must also believe that God still reigns today, allowing you to live by holding onto promises while waiting for Him, just as God promised Abraham. God swore that His promises will surely be fulfilled! Today, in the process of waiting, you must hold onto His promises, Hallelujah! This is an unchanging matter from God, Hallelujah!
Thank the Lord; God cannot lie. In His refuge, we must hold fast to the hope set before us, believing in His promises, and in the process of waiting, hold onto the promises! Believe that He will surely fulfill the best blessings in our lives. If this blessing has not yet arrived, it is because the time has not yet come. When the time comes, I will see the best blessings! Because God works in His timing, Amen. God is willing to give us the best.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, thank You and praise You for leading us, restoring our faith through Your words. Let us believe that Jesus reigns in times of trouble and hardship! Believe that Your promises will not change. Abraham waited a long time, but You still fulfilled the best blessings for him, and this blessing lasts forever! Abraham's waiting was worthwhile because his name truly became great!
Thank You and praise You. I also believe that the blessings You give me are great; You will fulfill Your promises! Thank You and praise the Lord. I am willing to endure patiently to receive what is promised, to receive the best blessings! Grant me strength to become a messenger of this gospel, to comfort more people, living by relying on Your words. We are people with a mission; in difficult times, we must rely on God's words to overcome all environments and comfort one another! If we know that day is approaching, we need to hold onto God's promises and live, Hallelujah! Thank You and praise You; all glory belongs to You. In the name of Lord Jesus, we pray, Amen!
