Brothers and sisters, welcome to your arrival!
The topic of sharing is: God Promises You Will Inherit the World
Let’s first read this passage of scripture, Romans 4:13-18:
13 For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would inherit the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void. 15 For the law brings wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression. 16 That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, 17 as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist. 18 In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, “So shall your offspring be.”
Let’s start with a prayer.
Heavenly Father, thank you and praise you! Thank you for giving us such words, letting us know that we are the descendants of Abraham and will inherit the world. It is not because of our good deeds that we can inherit, but because of what Jesus did for us on the cross. We are justified by faith, we are the heirs of God, and I believe that the blessings like those of Abraham will also be fulfilled in me. Moreover, in Christ, you have prepared abundant blessings for me. I believe this is a moment set apart by you, and the Holy Spirit will personally lead us to receive renewal and supply, blessing all the brothers and sisters who seek you. In the name of the Lord Jesus, I pray, Amen!
Many Christians have a confusion:
I also believe that I am a descendant of Abraham, so why haven’t I seen Abraham’s blessings come upon me? I declare every day as some pastors say, I speak positive words, yet it still seems ineffective;
My finances and relationships have not changed much, how exactly should I believe? How can I inherit the world? Should I work hard to declare? Should I strive to rest? It seems I have tried many methods, yet I see no results.
Everyone's needs are different: some have health issues and hope to inherit God's health; some have financial problems and hope for a turnaround; some have interpersonal relationship issues and hope to be accepted by others.
Because our points of need are different, we should find God's promises in the Bible, apply them to ourselves, imagine them in our lives, and eventually, we will see them. God wants to give us all of these. The question is, how do we receive God's promises to inherit the world? Let’s first look at today’s main text: God promises Abraham and his offspring that they will inherit the world. This is a very certain promise from God. You are a believer in Jesus, so you are a descendant of Abraham and will inherit the world.
Let’s first look at what kind of promises God gave to Abraham and how he inherited the world. I hope everyone can learn from Abraham how to rely on God, and you can do it accordingly. The transformations, abundance, health, and good relationships you desire in life are all included in God's promises. This is inheriting the world.
If you are always lying in bed, especially on a sickbed, you cannot inherit the world; or if you are always forced by life, you cannot inherit the world; if your health is always a problem, you cannot inherit the world. It seems you cannot see in God's promises.
What I want to tell everyone is: the scope of inheriting the world includes: health, abundance, good relationships, etc., all of which are supplied in God's promises. Everything we need is in God's promises. This includes everything mentioned earlier and what I have not mentioned. God says you can inherit the world. You can see those good things in the world; in fact, God is willing to give you some of them. It’s not that He won’t give you others; it’s just that there are some you are not interested in at all, so God won’t give you those, but there will definitely be areas that interest you. God says: what you care about, I will give to you. This is your personalized inheritance of the world.
The first point of sharing: Believe that what God says will surely come to pass, regardless of the current situation.
Brothers and sisters, God’s words are there; can you believe they will surely come to pass? You say, I believe, when my faith is strong, I believe, and when God accomplishes it, I believe, but after praying for a while, it seems there hasn’t been much change, and I start to waver. If I pray for a long time and there is no response at all, I completely lose faith and stop believing. Brothers and sisters, that is not called faith. Look at what God said to Abraham; does it relate to the world he inherited?
In the scripture we just read, Romans 4:13-14:
13 For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would inherit the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith.
First, you must believe that God’s first blessing to you is giving you the righteousness of Christ. With the identity of a righteous person, you can inherit the blessings of the righteous. And you receive the identity of the righteous not by your efforts, not by your achievements, but by believing in Jesus, and He gives it to you. It is like giving birth to a child; after that, he inherits many blessings from the family. It is something you have prepared for him. Why? Because he is your offspring. Because he is your offspring, he inherits many of the family’s abundant blessings, etc. This also includes interpersonal relationships, your achievements, etc., all of which can be reflected in your offspring.
Verse 14 says, For if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void.
What does this mean? If we rely on our own efforts, being adherents of the law means being self-centered, striving hard, trying to earn it, and through this way, becoming God's heirs and descendants of Abraham would not require faith. Work hard, and you can live a little more abundantly; this does not require faith, and the promise is void. The meaning of void is that it has no effect on you.
Many people strive to earn God's blessings, trying to do something to receive God's blessings, but instead, they do not receive them. Because you are not in God's promises, you make faith void, and it becomes useless. First, you must believe one thing: God gives you the identity of the righteous. Do not overlook this; the identity of the righteous is closely followed by the blessings of the righteous.
God promises Abraham and his offspring that they will inherit the world. Looking at Abraham's life, you can see that he lived a blessed life, and your life is also a blessed life. First, you must believe this, regardless of your current situation. Even if you have nothing, you must believe this. Last time I shared about Jacob; when Jacob had only a stick in his hand, he believed that God's promise would surely be fulfilled in his life.
Twenty years later, we see God's tangible blessings in him. You should believe this too; you are a descendant of Abraham, not because your behavior is good that you are a descendant of Abraham, but because you believe in Jesus and receive righteousness by faith. Brothers and sisters, let’s look at how the promises and blessings of God were manifested in Abraham's life.
Genesis 12:1-4:
1 Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. 2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” 4 So Abram went, as the LORD had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.
Through this passage, you can see where Abraham's starting point was. At that time, Abraham was in his hometown; he was not particularly poor, but he had a desire in his heart to seek the true God, yet he had never found it. When God spoke to him personally, it ignited the dream in Abraham's heart. God said to Abraham: you are to leave your country, your kindred, and your father's house, and go to the land that I will show you. God meant that He would make him a great nation there.
If you think your family is already big enough, I will make you a great nation in the future. You become a great nation because I bless you, and I will make your name great. Do you know this is God's promise to Abraham? At this time, Abraham had not achieved anything significant, nor had he preached the gospel, nor had he performed even a tiny miracle. But God spoke these words to him. It was not because Abraham was good; it was because our God was willing to bless him. Today, our God is also proclaiming His promises and blessings to all people. Some people respond, while others hear as if they have not heard. After Abraham heard God's promise, he went as the LORD commanded.
Brothers and sisters, leaving your hometown to start anew in a strange place requires faith; you must completely trust God, or you may not be able to endure after a while. Serving God is the same; many people start with full faith and enthusiasm, but a month later, a year later, three years later, a large number of people fall behind because they forget how God spoke to them at first.
It is always emphasized that we must follow God's calling. This includes God saying, come follow me. Jesus said this to the twelve disciples: come follow me. But do you know? Judas Iscariot also followed, but he did not truly believe and eventually left. The other disciples, although weak, still followed later. What I want to tell you is: do you know you are the one who inherits the world? Then make a determination to follow God's footsteps in this life, just like Abraham. Even though my hometown is good, if God says to go there, I will go there, no matter how harsh or terrible the environment ahead is, I will not look back. This is Abraham's faith.
Abraham did this simply because God gave him a word! He did not say: first turn some gold into existence, and then I will believe you are God. Moses was like that, but Abraham was not. Moses was indeed weak in faith, so God performed several miracles before him, yet he was still timid and did not dare to move forward. Abraham was different. So Moses is not our example; Abraham is our example; we are descendants of Abraham, not descendants of Moses. The Pharisees said we are descendants of Moses, the children of Moses, the disciples of Moses. We are the children of Abraham, the descendants of Abraham. Amen.
Why? Because Abraham's strength lies here. God spoke to him, and he went without seeing anything. Do you know that the land of Canaan that Abraham went to was a very desolate place? There were no grand cities, no rich and beautiful things; nothing was formed. If you were called by God and went to such a place, the contrast in your heart might be very great. Aren't you going to bless me? Where are your blessings? I do not see them! Abraham had at least a big house and family business in his hometown. But since he began to follow God, he lived in tents, often moving his tent. From a human perspective, he was indeed living worse than before, but looking back, you will find that he truly inherited God's blessings; he is a person who inherits the world. Amen.
Because he believed God's words, God did not say that this blessing was never there. The first thing God blessed him with was wealth. So God said, I will make you a great nation, I will bless you and make your name great. How did God bless Abraham? He made his household very wealthy. This is not just spiritual wealth; if you read Genesis carefully, you will see that God said he had much gold, silver, and livestock. God first blessed Abraham financially. Why did He bless him like this? As we mentioned earlier, God's promise to him was, I will make you a great nation and bless you and make your name great. The latter part of that sentence is very important: you will also be a blessing to others.
Brothers and sisters, God blesses us; when we are wealthy, what do we do with that wealth? It is not to belittle or look down on others, nor to stand by when others encounter difficulties and problems, but to let others be blessed. After Abraham received God's grace, he indeed became a blessing to others. Many Christians hope to be wealthy.
I want to ask everyone: what do you want so much money for?
Once someone said: I just want God to give me a billion!
I said: what do you want God to give you so much money for?
He said: to show off, so that I can have face when I go out.
So nearly ten years passed, and he still did not receive this blessing because his motivation was problematic from the start. Brothers and sisters, God does not give us blessings for us to show off; it is not for us to feel superior to the world. Your position is already the highest; you are a disciple of Christ, a descendant of Abraham, you are righteous, your position is already very high, and you do not need to elevate your identity through worldly possessions. After God gives you these material blessings, you should become a blessing to the world. Let the world see the beauty of Christ through you. If you have such a heart, when God calls you to do things, financial blessings will come easily.
This is why so many people experience easy financial turnarounds:
On one hand, they know they are righteous.
On the other hand, they know that what they do will surely be blessed by God.
So they ask God for wisdom and strength every day, allowing Him to bless them to help more people. Indeed, there are many such testimonies. Many people fall into an extreme, saying they understand healing, but how do they turn their finances around? If you listen carefully to my past sermons, you will know how many people's finances have already been turned around.
Hebrews 13:1-2:
1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Isn't this speaking of our Abraham? Abraham had a heart of love for his brothers. Moreover, he showed hospitality to strangers, indicating that Abraham was a particularly warm and hospitable person. He would definitely help others when he saw them in difficulty. Because he knew that all he had was given by God, when he saw someone passing by his door, he would give them water to drink and food to eat, all for free. Unknowingly, he entertained angels.
When three angels went to see the wickedness of Sodom, they passed by Abraham's door. Do you think those three angels needed to pass by Abraham's door to get to Sodom? They could have gone straight past! It was God giving Abraham such an opportunity. Brothers and sisters, God also wants to give you an opportunity; are you willing to be someone else's help and let others be blessed? Some say, I will do it when I have a billion. If you cannot do it now, even if you get a billion, you still won’t be able to do it. We must first have such a heart. Believe you are the one who inherits the world, believe that in Christ, God will give you all of this, and your heart must be set right. Amen!
Although Abraham was good in this regard, it does not mean he was a perfect person. He also had weaknesses and problems. For example, he lied twice, and both lies were similar. When King Abimelech wanted to marry his wife, the local king took a liking to his wife, and he said she was my sister. Regarding this lie, Abraham had a very spiritual reason; he said, I thought the people of this place did not fear God and would kill me because of my wife. In the patriarchal era, whoever had power and many people would have the final say; there were no just laws at that time.
Abraham lied, and as a result, God intervened and saved him. That night, God said to Abimelech, “You are a dead man! That is someone else's wife; how dare you touch her?” Have you ever thought about why God favored Abraham at that time? Clearly, he caused such a consequence by lying, yet God still saved him. What I want to say is, you are the one who inherits the world; even if you have weaknesses and make mistakes, you are righteous, you belong to God, and God will never give up on you. No matter how weak you are or how big the problem is, He will save you.
God sees Abraham as righteous. The Bible does not record any words of God rebuking Abraham; instead, God rebuked Abimelech, telling him to return another man's wife. This was indeed not King Abimelech's fault. At that time, there was no law, and Abraham did not even know the Ten Commandments; he lived by faith, believing in God's promises. He stepped out by promises and lived by promises. When we live by promises, we may be weak, but you are still in God's promises.
After this incident, Abraham's faith was somewhat strengthened. At that time, he was already very wealthy, but he still had weaknesses, and this weakness greatly affected his life and living, which was that he still had no son. Although God had promised him, it had not yet come to pass. Brothers and sisters, many people worry about financial issues, saying God has not fulfilled it for a long time; many people do not worry about finances but wonder when God will give them a child. He was worried about this matter. We always have areas of concern and areas we do not worry about. Why not use the faith you have in areas you do not worry about in the areas you are concerned about? In fact, they are the same.
God is still the same God, still the God who blesses you, and He wants to bless you in all the areas you care about. This is God's abundance. It is not just one area; it is the part you care about that God wants to make you abundant in. Those who have always wanted children but have not received them can certainly understand Abraham's feelings. How anxious was Abraham at that time? He saw that others had already given birth to sons; others had already given birth to sons, but he had not even had a son, yet he had to believe that his descendants would be numerous.
I believe at that time Abraham must have prayed to God: Lord, my brother's family has given birth to daughters; where is my son? Isaac actually married his brother's granddaughter, which was a generation apart. In this process, how did God comfort Abraham? God could have given him a son right then.
Let’s look at Genesis 15:1-6:
1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.” 2 But Abram said, “O Lord GOD, what will you give me, for I continue childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 And Abram said, “Behold, you have given me no offspring, and a member of my household will be my heir.” 4 And behold, the word of the LORD came to him: “This man shall not be your heir; your very own son shall be your heir.” 5 And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” 6 And he believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness.
A person prays for a long time, wanting a son, but has not received one. What is the most desired word to hear? Next year at this time, you will have a son! Many times we hope God will accomplish it immediately. At that time, Abraham was indeed weak; he said, I have no son, what will you give me? It is not that God did not bless him elsewhere; he knew that it was God who blessed him, but what he wanted most was a son.
He said, besides a son, I am not very interested in other things. Who inherits my estate is not important because there is no son! At that time, he even said to God, you have not given me a son; the one born in my house is my heir. God kept reminding Abraham of His promises. Abraham said, I have no son; the one born in my house is my heir; I have no son now. His entire focus was on the son.
Then God said to him, this man will not be your heir; your very own son will be your heir. I believe many people reading this passage will definitely question God, asking when He will let him give birth. In the past, many people prayed like this, asking when it could be accomplished. Some people pray for something for a month without results and ask when it can be accomplished. How can we give them a definite answer?
Can you imagine how anxious Abraham was at this time? God did not say, tomorrow I will let you have a son! God brought him outside and said, look toward heaven and number the stars; can you number them? Then He said to him, your offspring will be like that. It seems God is always painting a big picture without fulfilling it. Many people say, you speak well, always telling us to believe in God's promises; think about it from my position.
In fact, does God not know our inner anxiety? He knows, so God still lets Abraham understand His promises, letting him look at the stars and count them. When he did this, Abraham believed the LORD, and he said, if you say so, then I will believe it. God counted it to him as righteousness. Believing without seeing is called faith. It is not that you believe God when He accomplishes something today. If the next thing God does not come to pass, you stop believing in God; this is very dangerous.
Remember one thing: you are God's heir, and you will inherit the world. The greatness of Abraham's faith lies here; he was anxious in his heart, perhaps unable to sleep at night, looking at his age and his wife's age, but after God told him to count the stars, he immediately believed God's promises.
No matter how the environment is, God gives Abraham a word, and Abraham believes it and believes it simply, without any other unnecessary thoughts. In the past, his focus might have always been on the son, and he could not see other blessings from God. Now, by adjusting his focus back to God's promises, he could see other blessings, including the blessing of a son. God hopes we learn from Abraham; after praying for certain things, we should believe in God's promises, do what we should do, and not focus on the things that have not yet come to pass. This will cause you to lose faith. Wait for God in faith; He will surely accomplish it at the right time. Amen. Do not say you cannot wait.
The second point of sharing: You are the offspring of faith, belonging to grace.
Romans 4:16-18:
16 That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, 17 as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist. 18 In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, “So shall your offspring be.”
You become a descendant of Abraham also by faith; this is God's grace. It is not by our efforts to become descendants of Abraham, nor by striving to do what Abraham did that we can become his descendants. You are justified by faith. Believe that Jesus completed all redemption for us on the cross; His promises will surely be fulfilled in our lives. Abraham believed in the God who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist; this was his faith. He believed in God in hopeless situations.
Brothers and sisters, do you know what it means to be without hope? Everything seems to be at its worst, and there is no hope at all, yet he still has hope because of faith. When we complain, feel discouraged, and despair, even begin to doubt God, it is because we are without hope. Most people do not believe when they are without hope. Forget it, I will not rely on God; I might as well work harder myself.
What you need to learn is Abraham's faith, and you can inherit the world as a blessing from God. Amen. This blessing is something that the world can never obtain through effort. Having faith when there is hope and losing faith when there is no hope actually comes from within us, from a faith under the law. If you receive God's faith, you believe that He can do all things, and that God will accomplish the best things at the right time, you will not lose hope. No matter how the environment is, no matter how the outcome is, no matter how things develop, still believe that God's blessings for us do not change, God's promises do not change, and I am the one who inherits the world. You must see this.
When Abraham died, he did not see his descendants born as numerous as the stars in heaven and the sands by the sea, but we see it. God does not lie; besides those Arabs, Jews, and others born from Abraham, the people in the Middle East, and all those who believe in Jesus today are all spiritual descendants of Abraham. God does not lie; God has fulfilled it. You should believe in God like this. Inherit the world by faith. Amen.
In the area you need, let God give you wisdom, let you see, let you have hope. In which aspect do you need to inherit the world? No matter which area, remember that God has His timing. This statement is not about passively waiting but about actively hoping while waiting.
Let’s look at a passage from Ecclesiastes 3:11: He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
God has made everything beautiful in its time. What does this mean? The sowing, growing, maturing, and harvesting of wheat all take time. The changing of seasons and the alternation of hot and cold all have their time. The things God created all have their time in the process of operation, and every time is the most beautiful.
I want to say that your life is the same. At the most appropriate time in your life, God will let you meet the right people, do the right things, and God will give you the best blessings. We just need to walk in it and rest. Because you know God is supporting you all the way, your heart can be calm and stable.
You are not a person without hope; you are not without a caretaker. God is your caretaker; you are His child, and He has placed eternity in your heart. Know that we can receive abundant life. But this life, this living, is not that you pray today and tomorrow everything is accomplished. Because many times God does not accomplish things according to our timing, we begin to doubt and lose heart. This is what God means when He says that His works from beginning to end cannot be comprehended by man, because the heights from which we stand are different.
The highest leader in a church and the thoughts of believers differ; the angles of thinking are different, and the ways of doing things are different because the levels of life are not the same. Similarly, it is the same between us and God; some of God's actions we still cannot comprehend, but this does not affect you from receiving blessings. You just need to believe one thing: that God will give you the best blessings at the most appropriate time and place.
Knowing this is enough! Other things are not important; as for when it will be, do not ask this. When the time comes, you will naturally understand. Why should we ask when it will be? Even if God tells you, you probably cannot wait. It is better to do well what you are currently doing before things come. Believe every day that this is a beautiful day, and God has prepared the most beautiful blessings for me today.
Perhaps the matter of prayer has not yet been accomplished, but that does not mean God has not accomplished it. Some things may take three months, others three years; this does not affect receiving His abundant blessings. In which area do you need God to bless you? What I am saying now is a specific area. For example, if you are in the chemical industry, let God bless you in this area; if you are a teacher, let God bless you in this aspect. There are various industries in the world, but please remember that every industry is established by our God. And each is filled with God's wisdom.
No matter which industry you are in, in which area, God's words can help you. Because we are in different regions, environments, and industries, the things we encounter are also different. You cannot imitate my way of praying, but you can emulate the heart of prayer and the heart of seeking God. God will surely give you what you need, just as God's needs for me and yours are different. In which area do you hope God will let you inherit the world? Inheriting the world is a broad concept; when applied to life, it will become specific to certain matters because the things we encounter are different, and we need to rely on God in everything.
I will give you some suggestions, but these suggestions are not standards; please do not get it wrong. Many people take some words from a pastor's sermon as a standard to follow; only God's words are the standard. We give you some suggestions through these truths to lead you to God's words, so you can draw on God's promises to inherit the world, and you will have beautiful testimonies. Hallelujah!
This morning someone sent me a message, saying that they had been sick for a long time, and listening to sermons for many years did not work, but with our systematic training, continuously listening to the word and completing assignments, some diseases disappeared from their body. He suggested to others that they should also read the Bible more and listen to sermons more. Did you notice? He changed because he had this need at that time. When the time came, God allowed him to receive this blessing, and after inheriting this blessing, he could immediately help those around him. Amen.
I give you some suggestions; some people may worry about how to turn around in finances and interpersonal relationships. For these two areas of turnaround, I suggest you read the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Acts of the Apostles more. These three books must be read more. What I mean is to read them whenever you have time. Of course, other wisdom books can also be read, but reading through them is the best. These few books will help you a lot in financial and interpersonal relationships. You should also develop a habit of reading. The books I refer to are positive energy books or books related to your profession; you should learn about them.
The knowledge of the world is not useless as some people say. Many books written by professionals also need to be read; develop a habit of reading. This knowledge is also helping us; it is just that when you look at this knowledge through God's perspective, learning these will greatly help you. At least it will not let us start from scratch; we will continue to move forward standing on their shoulders, and through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit, many things will become very easy for you to apply.
Some time ago, a sister called me and said she was not worried about finances at all, but she had not received healing for her body. She said she had studied some professional investment books, and after believing in Jesus, God specifically let her use these in the financial aspect, blessing her a lot. But in terms of healing her body, it was very difficult to receive...
Have you noticed that no matter which area you are in, it is actually very easy? In which aspect are you more professional? Let God's knowledge come in, let God's truth come in, and skillfully apply your professional knowledge; you will be more professional than others. You will find that there are many professional terms in the Gospel of Luke. Because Luke was a doctor, he wrote about healing testimonies that are much more professional than others. Others might just say that a person was healed suddenly; but Luke would mention that the person's ankle bones became strong immediately. You know, this is a professional person writing professional words. Because a person can stand up and walk is related to the ankle bones.
We might think, he stood up immediately, and that’s great. But professionals see things differently. This is Luke, using God's wisdom in the profession, so when he prayed, it might be very simple: in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command you, ankle bones, be strong immediately, and that person was healed immediately.
Brothers and sisters, this is using God's words to enter into our fields; you can inherit the world in that aspect and do better than others. Amen. For example, when a doctor treats a patient, he thinks about what shape the throat will be in after inflammation, and in his mind, there will be a picture. He will command, in the name of the Lord Jesus, the redness and swelling to go down immediately. Because when he says this, he has a sense of imagery, which we might not have. This is allowing God's blessing to enter into your field, letting you inherit blessings in this area. Hallelujah!
This applies to finances and interpersonal relationships. Similarly, if you do not have expertise in this area, what should you do? If you want to invest in this area, you must consult professionals in that field; do not look for prophets. It is not recommended to look for prophets unless they are professionals in that area. This is the method I give you; perhaps every pastor speaks differently. You can receive according to your own situation; the important point is to add prayer, which will allow you to discern the people and situations you encounter. In short, remember that God has made everything beautiful in its time.
If you want to receive healing, I suggest you read the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Additionally, the Acts of the Apostles, which contains many miracles. Why emphasize reading the four Gospels? Look at how Jesus did things because healing, finances, and interpersonal relationships are different. In a certain area, God will give blessings in that aspect, allowing us to inherit the world; this is different. Many people use one sentence and never learn again, never improve, and never pursue God again. They feel that this sentence is enough; as long as they declare it, everything can be accomplished. Yet they find that many things are not like that.
Because the mysteries of God and the power of God cannot be summarized in just one sentence; God's wisdom and power are truly vast. Any of them can be used; the key is that we need to inherit the world in different areas. You need to draw on different abilities from God; this is the difference in gifts, abilities, and positions. In terms of healing, look more at the four Gospels and see how Jesus did things; you just need to believe.
When receiving healing, you must put down all professionalism. If you rely on doctors and medications, you do not need to. You can pray for the medication to work and prepare the best doctors for me; that is fine. But if you pray hoping to see miracles like Jesus, put down all your professional knowledge and simply believe in God, and you will receive. So, different fields may have slight differences, but everything is done in faith. Amen.
We inherit God's promises in faith; this is grace, grace is given freely, and we receive freely. When you do things in faith, there will be no worries or fears. This is very simple; you just need to discern carefully. What if you still have worries and fears? You need to continue to look up to God's promises and continue to receive God's words in that area. As long as you receive enough, your faith will be full, and there will be no more worries or fears. Because you believe God can do all things, you are His heir, and He will surely help you. Amen.
Finally, let’s look at a passage from Hebrews 11:8-12:
8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God. 11 By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.
This passage speaks of both Abraham's faith and Sarah's faith together. Look at Abraham; by faith, he obeyed when he was called to go out to a place he was to receive as an inheritance. When he went out, he did not know where he was going. Indeed, when Abraham left, he did not know what the land of Canaan was like, but he believed God's words. Today, I hope you inherit the world by believing like this, even if you do not see results now, believe that God's words will not fall to the ground, believe that God's promises to me will not fail or be lost. Not seeing it now does not mean I cannot see it. Rejoice and hope for the arrival of results.
Some people become anxious after praying, wondering why it has not been accomplished yet, unable to wait, unable to endure, saying, Lord, you do not know I am burning with anxiety... Can God not know? When Abraham went out, he saw nothing, yet he still believed. He believed and lived as a guest in the promised land, as if living in tents in a foreign land. In fact, it was true; he had a big family in the past, at least he had a house and did not have to drift around. But since he entered the promised land, he lived in tents.
When he looked back, he could only complain. He felt deceived. But Abraham always believed that God's words would surely come to pass in his life; he would surely become a great nation, his name would surely be known by many, and he would become a blessing to many. His descendants would be as numerous as the stars in heaven and the sands by the sea. This was something he could never achieve by relying on himself in his hometown. So you must believe like this: those promises, those dreams you have spoken before God, those goals you have written, God will surely accomplish them for you. Not seeing it now does not mean God will not accomplish it; just do not doubt, but wait.
Because he was waiting for the city that has foundations, which God is building, in the past, the home he built was his own; he had a foundation in his heart and faith to see it. But now he is waiting for a city with foundations that is too great. What God builds and what He wants to give him far exceeds what he asks or thinks. You should believe the same; what God gives you is better, bigger, and more beautiful blessings and promises. Amen!
Sarah was also like this; although she was past the age of childbearing, she could still conceive. Because she believed that God's promises were trustworthy. No matter how urgent your situation is, no matter how terrible the situation is, do not focus on your environment and problems; turn around and believe in God's promises, believing that what He says will surely count.
Find the areas you need in the Bible, often think and meditate on God's promises in the areas you are managing, let Him enter into your field, and your field will come alive and be full of vitality. Amen. Just like Sarah, who saw her body as good as dead, her menstruation had ceased, and it seemed there was no hope. But God's promises came in, and His promises will surely be fulfilled! Amen. This is the God we believe in; I want to tell you: you will surely inherit the world; this is God's promise to you.
Let’s pray together:
Heavenly Father, thank you and praise you! Thank you for comforting and encouraging us with such words. When the world is panicking and has no hope, you are still our hope. You promise us that we will inherit the world. Because we are the descendants of Abraham. The God in whom Abraham believed is the God who raises the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.
Today, He is also my God; I am a descendant of Abraham. Therefore, the blessings like those of Abraham will come upon me, and what I inherit is even greater. I will no longer look at how terrible the current environment is but turn to look at your promises. Draw on your promises and live. Give me wisdom, let me rely on your promises, and use the wisdom of the earth. See higher and further than the world. You bless me, so I can also be a blessing to those around me. All glory be to you; in the name of the Lord Jesus, I pray, Amen!
